In light of recent events, such as 50% of Malton being considered red zombie teritory, survivors just can't survive anymore.  Zombies are practically imposible to stop in combat, you kill them and toss them outside, just so they can stand up and continue the assault later for just a little AP. I have played as a zombie so I know how it is, you die a lot but it doesn't really matter that much, it is just a little lost AP.  Survivors in Malton need a new method of survival, I belive one of the best ways would be the ability to hide.  If a survivor could hide in buildings, they would have a better chance of survival because a zombie would have to look for them and could only attack survivors that they find.  That would give survivors the edge they need to survive.  - Please comment on my idea and let me know what you think.

You're absolutely right, but this won't happen anytime in the near future. Look what happened when Kevan tried to give survivors a LITTLE bit of an edge with a Headshot that took away AP; the zombies bitched and moaned until he diluted it so that it didn't do a THING to zombies. While there's still pockets of humanity around, survivors will never, NEVER be allowed a fair fight. Let me tell you when Kevan will do something to level the playing field: when the last survivor group has disbanded, when the last suburb has fallen into Red for months, when the last veteran hits the Log Out button and walks away from UD forever, when even zombie players stop playing because there's no one left to fight. When the entire survivor force hits the Red Button and walks away, then maybe, MAYBE we'll get tossed a bone. But then, no one will be around to appreciate it.

(a little dramatic, true, but it IS ridiculous how disadvantaged survivors are, and things will never change. UD's like life; it sucks for all the people who try to be brave, but you have to keep going. Otherwise you're a punk.)

Oh come one now.  Survivors are disadvantaged?  What are YOU smoking?Huh  Why are you whining when survivors have most of the advantages already in the game?  Just think for a moment

Zeds require 5 AP to ruin a building, Survivors can repair it with 1 AP
Zeds required at least 5 AP to destroy a Generator, Survivors can repair it with 1 AP
Taking down barricades from the outside is harder than taking them down from the inside or than putting them up.
Survivors have better communications (radios), better equipment (scan a Zed with NT tech to track them), better weapons.
A well equipped survivor can easily kill two full health zeds in a turn.
Survivors can free run among buildings to avoid being on the streets.
Survivors can track zeds quite well with NT tech, while the scent ability of the Zeds is limited.
Survivors can cure any infection with the treatment of any med-kit, making infections damn near useless.
The Headshot will always take 5 AP from a zed.  Zeds lack a similar ability.

The truth of the matter is the survivors, despite the many strengths they could use in the game, are badly disorganized.  The current situation in the game is due to several well organized ZED groups with memberships in the hundreds of players, all acting together at the same time for a common goal.  If you look at the overall game stats and track them, up until last week, survivors outnumbered zeds (making up around 54% of the population).  This well coordinated attack, despite the carnage, has barely tipped the balance (so Zeds are now 51% of Malton).  And to me that says the game is working well and is quite balanced.  I admit the the zombies have one major advantage .. the ability to die and just stand back up.  But despite this great ability, they still struggle with the survivors.  And that's because Kevan has balanced the game pretty well.

Zombos also get XP for doing these. Survivors get nothing. (And don't give me that crap about a safe place to sleep. NOPLACE IS SAFE! Nothing's stopping the zombos from breaking down the barricades.)

* In-Game communication currently suck ballz. (Why waste AP to talk when send PM is free?) Zombos have the same access to Out-Game communication as Survivors.
* Let's not forget the endless AP we spend to find that equipment.

This is my 3rd day playing & none of my Survivors have managed to get in a single kill & they're all extremely well equipped (guns, bullets, all that good stuff).

In other words, I support this suggestion. We survivors need more Zombo Hunter skillz ta even da odds!
